SouthernMesa is an independent publication.

The idea is simple, if you´re interested in Spain, because you live and work here, or have retired here, or wish to come here, or just want to know more about the country, then we have curated this collection of news, comment, tips and information for your use.

It is brought to you by a small, family-linked editorial team who live in Valencia and Girona. A group of expats who hail from the UK, but many years ago moved to France, then Italy and then Spain.

We were digital nomads way before the term was invented.

If you sign-up today, you'll get full access to the daily updated news and comment, as well as a weeky email sent on Friday which updates about you what has happened in Spain that week (what has interested us as expats living and working here).

If you´d like to access the other pages, which tells you about all things we think its good to you know about Spain, then we offer a two euro per month subscription. You can cancel at any time.

Everything is handled through our host platfrom, Ghost, and top payments platform Stripe. So, we don´t host your email address, or your payment details. We trust Ghost to do that for us, which is what they do very well.
